We just returned from seeing Avatar. It is a most wonderful movie. I’m sure we’ll see it again. I was thinking how popular movies and stories keep reminding us of the potential of the unreality (illusion-ness) of consensus reality. It must be the current Zeitgeist or perhaps that technology has reached a state that we can show that consensus reality may be only a virtual reality. The original Matrix movie was a perfect example of such a movie.

Basically they all talk about Plato’s cave. They ask questions about meaning of awareness and consciousness.

My own version of this idea came about thirty years ago when I was a software engineer for a video game company. I had this fantasy that the universe was a video game for god – actually my nightmare at the time was that it was near dinner time for our universes god and soon mother god would be calling our god to dinner and turn our universe off – hence the 2012 nonsense perhaps. Anyway, that was thirty years ago and I knew nothing about 2012.

Perhaps we are being readied for a new understanding.

In reality I suppose it really does not matter what is real and what is not. It is the love of God, compassion, and forgiveness which matter.

So I have been concentrating on today’s review thoughts and I’m sustained and supported by the love of God.
