Day fifty eight is a review day about my holiness – now what is “my” holiness? Is it like my hands or my apparent mind (the ego – someone once said this EGO stands for edging God out) or is it like my real mind?

There’s a Buddhist meditation which starts with:

I have a body but I’m not my body…

I have a mind but I’m not my mind…

So the question may be: “Do I have a holiness and yet I’m not my holiness?” I’ll give the answer a little later.

From ACIM workbook:

(36) My holiness envelops everything I see.

From my holiness does the perception of the real world come. Having forgiven, I no longer see myself as guilty…

(37) My holiness blesses the world.

The perception of my holiness does not bless me alone…

(38) There is nothing my holiness cannot do.

My holiness is unlimited in its power to heal, because it is unlimited in its power to save…

(39) My holiness is my salvation.

[] Once I have accepted my holiness, nothing can make me afraid…

(40) I am blessed as a Son of God.

[] I cannot suffer any loss or deprivation or pain because of Who I am. My Father supports me, protects me, and directs me in all things. His care for me is infinite, and is with me forever. I am eternally blessed as His Son.

Now, I’ll answer the question I asked earlier, “Do I have a holiness in the same way I have a hand?” If I have an illness or injury and my hand has to be amputated I still exist. If my holiness were to be cut off from me would I still exist? Holiness, health and wholeness are linguistically related. If my holiness were to be “amputated” I would be an automaton. So I believe (not blind faith but through experience that I’m my Self (the God within) and my holiness is my real Self.

My holiness is the source of my compassion, unconditional love and most importantly my forgiveness. Because it is in everything I see that I can love all including myself and forgive all including myself…

So, I’ll gladly and lovingly say today’s review thoughts of the day.

I have been repeating, “my holiness blesses and forgives the whole world,” and I feel fantastic.
