Today’s practice periods will be very short, very simple and very frequent. Merely repeat the idea as often as possible…

The presence of fear is a sure sign that you are trusting in your own strength…

Short sweet and ever so true. So I’ll just make a running commentary of today as I keep repeating that there is nothing to fear:

• I remember that FEAR stands for false evidence appearing real. And of course A Course in Miracles states that fear is the opposite of love.
• It’s interesting that when I’m deep in work I don’t have any thoughts but the task in hand and there are no fears. In fact I love working so much that it is great fun. It is only when I stop and as they say the devil and idle hands…
• I’m discovering that I may have made some major mistakes and yet no fears – so that’s good
• I just listened to my “Ultra Forgiveness CD” and I had a better experience than ever before. Near the end there is a period of silence where the listener can allow the unconscious to go where it will go and I felt so happy, so full of unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness and I saw the light which became brighter and brighter and covered the forgiving events (all from about forty years ago). The people concerned with the forgiving (myself twice once for harming someone else, once for harming myself – and a person who I imagined had harmed me) all covered with beautiful intense pink light of unconditional love. It felt so safe and wonderful and suddenly all the problems of the world disappeared and just became fun (games, maya, illusion – all from the root of playing as in having fun and acting).
• A while later and all is great – no fear at all.
• Time for a walking meditation. It was a wonderful walk. I kept repeating different thoughts of the day of the past few days in my own words. The main words were things like:
  • God is the love with which I forgive.
  • God is the love through which I get strength.
  • God’s love strengthens me.
  • I forgive myself through God’s love.
  • God’s love allows me to forgive everyone.

  It was very calming and peaceful.

• 8:42 and I’m about to post this article. There’s really nothing to fear as with God there’s love and with love, forgiveness, kindness, and compassion there’s absolutely nothing to fear.
