I have no neutral thoughts

We continue on our long, long journey away from Plato’s cave of illusions toward the awesome (the light is so strong it is wonderful and fills you with awe, reverence, respect, love) sunshine world of reality.

The workbook continues with: “The idea for today is a beginning step in dispelling the belief that your thoughts have no effect. Everything you see is the result of your thoughts. There is no exception to this fact. Thoughts are not big or little; powerful or weak. They are merely true or false. Those which are true create their own likeness. Those which are false make theirs.”

I have no resistance toward today’s thought and can do the practices for the proscribed five times. I may end up doing for for more times and longer than a minutes each.

It is interesting that some ideas fit into my current thought pattern and also when applied to themselves don’t cause problems. Thus the fact that the thought that no thought is neutral is in itself not neutral but that does not negate the thought.

After writing the above I noticed that I was more aware of my passing subliminal thoughts than before.

Also a lot of my small upsets come from driving and traffic. I was noticing as I was driving that I don’t have any neutral thoughts.

So I decided to change my thoughts from frustration to those of love. I started blessing all on the roads and the drive became so much easier.

I just (at 5:07 p.m.) tried to save some additions to this post and the blog program (WordPress) made me log in again. Sometimes when It does this I lose whatever I have added recently – about three lines above – but this time because I know and I was thinking that “I have no neutral thoughts” I thought, “It OK – whatever happens is great.”

As it happened this time I did not lose any work – but if I had it would still have been great. I’m really enjoying today’s work.

It is now 11:28 p.m. and I’m ending this post. It was a most wonderful and wondrous day. I did see my little miracle and given that I have no neutral thoughts turned my negative thoughts to positive things.
