you are light, peace, joy and love

I had no time to do yesterday’s worbook exercises. Since these are review days I’ll combine yesterday’s and today’s work with my comments more than anything else. I started with the following thoughts:

• Light and joy and peace abide in me.
• I am as God created me.
• I am one Self, united with my Creator.
• Salvation comes from my one Self.

With the following details:

I am the home of light and joy and peace.
I welcome them into the home I share with God,
because I am a part of Him.

I will remain forever as I was,
created by the Changeless like Himself.
And I am one with Him, and He with me.

Serenity and perfect peace are mine, because I am one Self,
completely whole, at one with all creation and with God.

From my one Self, Whose knowledge still remains within my mind,
I see God’s perfect plan for my salvation perfectly fulfilled.

I started with the above thoughts and noticed that there was too much “I,” “My,” and so on. Suddenly I had a thought. I started silently saying to each I met :

• Light and joy and peace abide in you.
• You are as God created you.
• You are one Self, united with the Creator.
• Salvation comes from the one Self.

This made me feel much better. In time I went back to the other original form. The reason was that as I said the words referring to the others I remembered that I and You are the same so it really does not matter.

Ultimately it is a question of noticing the unity of Ultimate Reality and the peace, bliss, and joy that this unity brings.
