My name is Javad Hashtroudian. I have a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy. Some people cannot remember Javad so I use my initial (J really not Jay) but anyway one of my clients started calling me doctor Jay so I got this URL. As well as my private practice I give seminars on many subjects including weight management, manifestation of your desires, relationships, stress management, performance anxiety, improving grades at school, and others as asked for. So in this section I will write about issues that I talk about in my seminars, CDs, ebooks and so on. I'll post links to some audio and things like that.

What we see in our dualistic world is time bound which means all things are perishable and will not last.
So I am to spend today’s practice saying things like:
I see only the perishable.
I see nothing that will last.
What I see is not real.
What I see is a form of vengeance.
This is a form of Platonic thought. The ancient Greeks were way too cerebral. They started logic as the rules to a parlor game (yes/no game) and then they took it way too seriously and the renaissance Europeans who rediscovered Greek thought (through the Arabs thanks to the crusades) made the same mistake as them by living in a theoretical world. Thus Copernicus who had discovered the elliptical orbit of the planets did not publish his results for many years since the circle is the perfect figure and God would not have made imperfect orbits.
In the same way Des Cartes came up with his dualistic ideas. And here we have the same type. For the East only what changes is real. It is the perishable which is real. Anything permanent must be imaginary since God is an evolving entity.
Anyway, so, I went through the motions today but my heart was not in it.
