My name is Javad Hashtroudian. I have a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy. Some people cannot remember Javad so I use my initial (J really not Jay) but anyway one of my clients started calling me doctor Jay so I got this URL. As well as my private practice I give seminars on many subjects including weight management, manifestation of your desires, relationships, stress management, performance anxiety, improving grades at school, and others as asked for. So in this section I will write about issues that I talk about in my seminars, CDs, ebooks and so on. I'll post links to some audio and things like that.

I have not written any posts here for a while. One reason has been that I have been busy with another web project which I will role out in time. It will have some multimedia elements so I have to learn new tools. The second reason is that I am itching to death thanks to dying my hair (vanity thy name is stupidity). Most nights I am lucky if I can get three hours of sleep. My scalp itches and itches and either I cannot get to sleep until three a.m. or I wake up at three and cannot go back to sleep.
Early on my lymph nodes got as large as peas as my immune system kicked in overdrive or more like after burners. Now my lymph nodes have gone down. They are still larger than normal but it shows that I’m healing. Yeh! Yippy! There is hope for people who do stupid things.
Anyway, I’m still itching and itching and itching. Of course when you scratch an itch you irritate it and make it worse. We have some aloe plants at home and I cut some and squeezed the juice on my head before having a shower. That helped. Today I read a book on allergy and noticed the suggestion to have a porridge (oatmeal) bath. I remember hating porridge at boarding school. However, since I learned how good it is for your health I love eating it.
I remember reading somewhere about oatmeal baths but this was the first time I actually had one. I first powdered the oatmeal in a blender. Then I placed it in a kitchen towel and tied the towel (you are supposed to do it with muslin but I had none so I improvised). Next I placed it in a very hot bath and allowed the soluble fiber (the stuff which makes the porridge so good for your heart) to get into the bath water. Once the bath water had cooled down enough I entered and squeezed the towel all over me. Thus I would get real concentrated oatmeal on my body.
Finally I partially dried myself by dabbing my body with a towel (so as I would not irritate my scalp) and finally dried myself with a hair drier. So my scalp is not itching for the moment. I hope I can have the discipline to not scratch my scalp. Anyway, the bath was highly luxuriant and I can recommend it just to relax you and make you feel good.
