My name is Javad Hashtroudian. I have a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy. Some people cannot remember Javad so I use my initial (J really not Jay) but anyway one of my clients started calling me doctor Jay so I got this URL. As well as my private practice I give seminars on many subjects including weight management, manifestation of your desires, relationships, stress management, performance anxiety, improving grades at school, and others as asked for. So in this section I will write about issues that I talk about in my seminars, CDs, ebooks and so on. I'll post links to some audio and things like that.

Since my next seminar is the three hour concentrated version of the Michelangelo Weight Management seminar I might start this blog with some tips:
Change your words from weight loss to weight management. The unconscious mind hears weight loss and grieves over the loss. Hence most people gain all the weight they lose and then some.
Eat: breakfast like a king; lunch like a prince; and supper like a pauper.
Drink plenty and plenty of water.
Choose a diet low in fats and sugars and fill up with fiber.
If you drink alcoholic beverages, drink in moderation.
Increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat.
Decrease your processed food intake.
Avoid the “white” foods: sugar, salt, white flower.
Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, mustard greens are excellent for protection against cancer.
Exercising even a small bit is much better than no exercise at all. You can build slowly as you become more fit.
Eat bulky foods with lots of water and fiber. Such foods have a low calorie density, that is to say the number of calories per given weight is low and they will fill you up and give you a feeling of satiety.
Park away from where you are going.
Watch less TV and if you are watching TV fidget. Every two hours of TV watching per day increases your chances of getting diabetes by 14% and becoming over weight by 23%. Much better take a walk with a loved one and have quality communication. You’ll improve your relationship and your heart.
Cut down on your soda – even diet soda actually makes you gain weight. The only reasonable soda is good all plain club soda or carbonated mineral water.
